There aren't many old houses left in Kalofer,and those left from the Otoman Empire can be counted on the fingers of one hand.No,it is not a Museum,but a real home,where the chimney smokes in the winter and where in summer the owner sits with their grandchildren and guest under the grapevine,and in the cellar is the famous homemade rose brandy, matures and is offered to the guests of the house. But enough talk about domestic idyll.
